Istiklal Street

When it comes to Istiklal Street, it is a must for all travelers in Istanbul. Istiklal Street in Taksim, Beyoglu district of Istanbul is probably the most famous street and entertainment area in Istanbul. The region of Taksim and Istiklal Street is the heart of the city. Istiklal Street which means "Independence Avenue" is a mile long colorful pedestrian street and grand boulevard cutting through Beyoglu and full of all kind of shops, restaurants, cafes, street shows and it is located by the Taksim Square.

Karaköy 

Karaköy is located right in front of the old town, near the Galata Bridge and down the famous Tower of the same name. It covers an area from the banks of the Golden Horn to the Bosphorus. The first traces of urbanization dates back to the Byzantine Empire, it is therefore one of the most historical and important place of the city. It is still a condensed of Istanbul with different populations living close to each other.
